TikTok Business DMs are now available in your Trengo inbox, so your team can handle TikTok conversations next to all your other channels.

What's new

• Connect your TikTok Business Account to Trengo in a few clicks.

• Receive and reply to TikTok Direct Messages in your shared inbox, with text, images, and shared TikTok posts.

• Use the tools you already know: rules, team assignment, SLAs, reporting, and AI agents all work with TikTok conversations.

• See at a glance how much you can still send. The reply box shows TikTok's 48-hour reply window and message limits as you type.

Why this matters

When TikTok messages are handled outside Trengo, the conversation and its context end up in two places. With TikTok DMs in the inbox, agents stay in one platform, keep the full history in view, and pick up TikTok conversations with the same routing and workflows as everything else.

Good to know

• TikTok doesn't allow Business Accounts registered in the EEA, Switzerland, or the UK to use its messaging API. US accounts aren't supported yet.

• Customers start the conversation. TikTok doesn't let businesses open new chats or send broadcasts.

• This covers Direct Messages only. Comments and TikTok Shop aren't included.
