Live chat widget link target configuration

Business problem

Links shared within the live chat widget currently force all URLs to open in a new browser tab. When customers interact with multiple links or product recommendations from an AI bot, it leads to significant tab clutter and a fragmented user experience.

Wished result

A configuration option, preferably at the widget level, that allows administrators to choose between opening links in the same tab or a new tab. This would provide better control over the customer journey and prevent unnecessary browser overhead for the user.
